These 3 Singapore REITs Are Already Trending Up — Still Not Too Late?

Let's face it — most people only notice a stock after it's already doubled.

But what if I told you there are 3 Singapore REITs...

Suntec Reit: Stock to watch ! price 1.96

Hit a high of 1.97 today before pulling back… let’s watch !

Sent: Wednesday, February 18, 2015 9:23 AM
Subject: **************** Suntec Reit: Potential Rebound - Consolidation in progress, may be a good opportunity to accumulate above 1.90, price 1.92
Following up from prevous call, Suntec Reit has been trading from the 1.90 to 1.935 resistance level and seems to be holding above 1.90 psychological support well. Any breakout above 1.935 – 1.94 resistance on strong volume can pave the way back to 2.00 – 2.01. As long as 1.90 holds as the immediate support, still good for any rebound. Next support would be at 1.86. 20 DAY MA line also coincides with current 1.935 resistance so crossing above this level can end the current consolidation phase. Watchlist ! Stochastic indicator starting to trend upwards as it consolidates higher each day. Need more confirmation on break above horizontal level.

********************* Suntec Reit: What a rebound seen?

When will the 2.00 resistance be touched?  Now 1.95

Subject: *********************** Suntec Reit: What a Jump - more upside above 1.86 then 1.90... price 1.86
What a jump seen in Suntec Reit today back to its resistance at 1.86. Note that it is back to the 1.86 resistance level which was holding since June. For those who managed to accumulate on dip as per call last week can also consider taking some profit first. However note that any breakout above 1.86 can still see more upside. 200 day MA line still sloping upwards gradually and uptrend in the long term still intact.

Follow UP ******************* Suntec Reit: Uptrend still intact...... awaiting break above 1.80..... Accumulate..... (REPOST - 1.825)

Seems to have cleared the 1.80 resistance firmly and on the way up more. As long as 1.80 remains as new support level, still a mid to long term bullish and can continue to ride the uptrend which is very much intact.. Short term MA pointing upwards where price have been trading above is consistently. Long term 200 DAY MA, making a reversal upwards at the initial phase.
Raise stop loss to 1.795 now, Enjoy the upside !  J

Subject: Follow UP ******************* Suntec Reit: Uptrend still intact...... awaiting break above 1.80..... Accumulate.....
Suntec Reit seems to have broken above the 1.80 resistance level as mentioned previously, now at 1.805 with a high at 1.81. More upside can be possible from here is it can stay above the 1.80 level in the coming days. Target will then be to 1.90 then 2.00 as mentioned in previous accumulate call.
Raise stop loss at 1.78 then.

Subject: ********************** Suntec Reit: Uptrend still intact...... awaiting break above 1.80..... Accumulate.....
Suntec Reit has been trading from 1.77 to 1.80 for about a week already, have tested the psychological 1.80 resistance but failed to cross over 2 times. Likely to test it again over the next few weeks. Any break above the 1.80 can see it trade higher again to 1.90 to 2.00 level as mentioned previously. Bullish Double bottom spotted before the breakout above 1.75. Support remains at 1.77 then 1.75 currently. Uptrend intact and can continue to hold and ride the upside unless it proves otherwise.
Raise stop loss to 1.745 now.

Suntec REIT: Pure operational boost in 1Q14
Suntec REIT posted a strong recovery in its 1Q14 results, with NPI and distributable income rising 42.7% and 7.0% YoY to S$43.8m and S$50.9m respectively. The increase was due mainly to the opening of Suntec City Phase 1 and contribution from its recent acquisition in Sydney. Over the quarter, Suntec REIT continued to make significant progress on its leasing activities. On its capital management, we note that it has also signed a S$800m five-year unsecured loan facility to refinance the outstanding balance of its S$1.1b loan facility due in 2014 and 2015. Together with the recent private placement to pre-pay its S$350m debt due in 2015, Suntec REIT no longer has any refinancing needs till 2016. We maintain BUY with unchanged S$1.85 fair value on Suntec REIT.

***************** Suntec REIT: Potential upside to 2.00 on breakout above 1.75 ! Keep in view.

Suntec REIT has been consolidating below 1.75 resistance level since June last year forming a Bullish Double bottom with support at the 1.50 as of today. Can watch list this counter for more upside if the CRITICAL resistance at 1.75 breaks out, if that happens, we may see it trade higher to 2.00 eventually. Possible to accumulate before breakout also but would have to hold in wait for it (who knows when ?). Consistently supported above the 1.50 level which also coincides with the 200 DAY Long term MA which signals that long term uptrend still pretty much intact.
Stop loss at 1.72 on breakout.

Suntec REIT: Cash call for strength and growth
Suntec REIT announced yesterday that it will be issuing 218.1m new units at S$1.605 apiece via a private placement. The move came as a surprise to us as Suntec REIT had explicitly expressed that it has sufficient resources to fund its growth plans just a quarter ago, and that it was trading at a 21% discount to book value. According to management, the current intention is to use the proceeds to repay its existing debt, which is likely to reduce its debt burden and aggregate leverage. However, given the change in stance, we believe that Suntec REIT may possibly be beefing up its financial strength for potential growth opportunities in the near term. We maintain BUY with a revised fair value of S$1.85 (S$1.90 previously) on Suntec REIT.

********** Potential Rebound: Suntec Reit. Share price 1.625. (REPOST: NOW AT 1.64)

REPOST: NOW AT 0.64, SEEMS LIKE IT HAS CONVICNING BREAK ABOVE THE 1.62, can consider long positions and take profit on more strength

Posted yesterday - Suntec Reit has consolidated below the 1.62 resistance level for about 3 months already and finally we have seen some interest today and a slight attempt to break above, more confirmation needed though. The high set today is 1.63 currently. Can be a possible potential trade setup if the 1.63 level clears out. Target will then be to 1.70 then 1.80 in the near term. 1.70 resistance level is also the 200 DAY MA(Dotted blue line) so a break above that level can also signal more strength in the uptick.
Stop loss at 1.595 for short term trades.

Suntec REIT: Unveils Suntec City’s new look
Suntec REIT announced yesterday that its major enhancement of Suntec City has reached a milestone with the opening of Phase 1 and Suntec Singapore. Management reported that Suntec Singapore has hosted 96 events and 650k visitors since opening in Jun 2013, affirming its status as an attractive Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) destination, and expects a full calendar ahead for 2013 with customers like Spikes Asia, IFLA etc. The newly created retail space at Phase 1 now houses ~100 retail outlets and 50 F&B restaurants, including UNIQLO’s largest outlet in Singapore. We continue to believe that the outlook and valuation remains attractive for Suntec REIT. Maintain BUY with an unchanged fair value estimate of S$1.80.
