STI near record highs… what stocks could move next?

The STI is trading near record highs.

But that does not mean every Singapore stock is worth chasing.

As we head into the last quarter of 2026, stock selection becomes even more important.

The real question is:

Which SG stocks still have healthy trends and room to move next?

That’s why I recorded a new video.

I broke down 6 Singapore stocks on my watchlist using my One Good Trend strategy and 1GT (Pro) Indicator:

These are not all from the same sector.

Some are bank leaders.

Some are earnings momentum plays.

Some are defensive names.

Some are linked to commodities and market activity.

And that makes the watchlist interesting.

In this video, I’ll show you:

• Which stocks are still showing bullish trend strength
• Which 1GT signals are still playing out
• Which charts may be getting extended
• And which names I’m watching closely into Q4

👉 Watch the full video here: https://youtu.be/iV1BjTa_exo

If you’re looking at the Singapore market now, this is a good time to be selective.

Not every stock will move.

But some charts are still worth watching.

🚨 New SG Stock Revealed — Replay Now Ready

Just wrapped up another One Good Trade live session… and the replay is now ready. 🎥

This time, I revealed a brand new SG stock — CityDev (C09).

The setup is getting interesting.

If bullish signals start appearing on my system…
and if we break a key resistance level…

👉 we could potentially see another leg higher from here.

I broke down the chart LIVE using my One Good Trend strategy and 1GT (Pro) Indicator, showing:

• The key levels I’m watching
• What could confirm the next move
• And what needs to happen before momentum strengthens further

I also did a quick recap on SGX (S68) — one of the strongest SG stocks we covered in the previous One Good Trade session.

🎙 Jamie from Macquarie joined me again as a special guest to share how traders can potentially magnify their gains on stocks like these using a smart capital-efficient approach.

Trend showing signs of turning back up.

One of the strongest trends in the market right now.

What are 2 SG Stocks That are Crushing it Right Now Amidst the Pandemic?

What are 2 SG Stocks That are Crushing it Right Now Amidst the Pandemic?

Over the past 2 months due to the Covid-19 situation escalating, we have seen the STI tanked by more than 20% and most Singapore stocks have sold down really hard, including the blue chips.

Many businesses are in fact suffering from a sudden drop in demand and spending as the government implemented the circuit breaker measures.

The Question now is:

𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙨 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝘾𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙄𝙩 𝙍𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙉𝙤𝙬? 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣?"🌼

In this video, I will REVEAL to you 2 SG Stocks that are a key beneficiary to the current pandemic and are seeing prices holding really well.
⛱

They have been more resilient than many other stocks and sectors and their uptrend still looks quite intact imo.

I actually shared these 2 stocks with my clients and inner circle about 3 weeks back, but though they have risen by a bit, there may still be more potential upside if the key supports hold.

I will dive into the Charts for each of them and Break it ALL down for you as we Discover the key levels that you can potentially start thinking about nibbling some to ride the uptrend further.

SGX: Uptrend may still carry on despite recent rise. Price 8.52.

Just last month, we saw some bullish actions with SGX attempting to break the key 8.10 resistance level..

It has been trading below since last year and sellers were just out there to take it lower,

But finally, it gave way

More importantly, there were some signs of the uptrend taking shape on this move hence,

Some targets were drawn as seen below..

Towards 8.50 resistance which was the previous high seen last year.. See what I mean..

Indeed, we traded higher and hit a road block at around 8.30 where we consolidated below for about 3 weeks…

There were still signs of the short term upside continuing as seen from the 20 day MA, pointing upwards firmly with price holding above..

And we were looking for that firm break above 8.30 with targets reiterated towards 8.50 again…

It was also still holding firmly above 8.10 new support despite market weakness and with profit taking..

Over the past 1 week, target at 8.50 has been hit and it broke through as well,

For now, seeing some heavy selling at 8.60 where it is taking a breather below..

Normal, given the spike we have seen over the past month…

For now, seeing some consolidation again from 8.40 to 8.60 where the upside push may not be over..

Would be looking for more bullish price actions above 8.60 where targets can be revised higher again as seen below..

Let’s see, watching for now as we consolidate… to 9.00 next as drawn below?

SGX: Rebounded from 7.10 as mentioned in earlier accumulate calls last week, price 7.28

Still capped at 7.50 for now….. congrats to those who managed to catch the slight technical rebound…

Subject: ********* SGX: Supported at 7.10 for now, note levels....
SGX has not been spared from the recent sell down and has dipped from a high of 8.50 last month. Support would now be at 7.10, 6.80 then 6.65 which were the lows set in Oct and March last year respectively. Those looking to accumulate this blue chip on dips can consider at these levels but be nimble. Current short term trend still down with 20 day MA line still pointing firmly lower. But it may bottom out soon as market stabilized over the next  few weeks to a month and with it hitting new lows. Technical indicators have touched over sold region but there can still be more selling pressure if support breaks down.

SGX: A breakout above 8.10 seen indeed as per MORNING CALL issued

Can SGX still continue its rebound upwards?

Sent: Wednesday, July 01, 2015 10:14 AM
Subject: ****** SGX: Staging a recovery - More upside rebound above 8.10, price 8.08
SGX has been trading below 8.05 for more than 3 weeks after breaking below the support and we have seen it find a support at the 7.70 level before staging a rebound. Seems like it has found a base for any rebound and moving above 8.10 and staying above can lead the recovery back to 8.35 then 8.80 which was the high in May before Market weakness. May still be a good opportunity to accumulate on dips this Blue chip to prepare for any market strength. Note that the 8.70 support also coincides with the 200 day MA line where it rebounded from which can show that the long term trend is still positive.

********** Trading SELL: SGX. Share price 6.77. (Broken immediate support at 6.80)

SGX has traded lower on a weaker market since breaking below the 6.95 support level last week. Even immediate support at 6.80 has been tested and broken down today. Likely to see more downside with a near term target to 6.50. Those looking to accumulate again and average down can consider buying on dips when it nears that level, otherwise a short opportunity is presented at the moment to ride the potential downside. Has been forming lower highs since June last year as seen in downward sloping line and eventual break of horizontal support at 6.95.
Stop loss at 6.84 for CFD Short positions

****** Trading Sell: SGX. Share price 7.18. ( If the 7.20 remains as resistance)

Following up from previous Sell call made on 22 Aug 2013. Sgx has indeed not broken up above 7.40 and has headed lower on a weak market.  7.20 support has been broken as of now and more downside likely if it does not creep back up. Possible to head lower to test the Critical 7.00 support. As long as 7.20 is a resistance, we are bearish. In this case a downside breakdown of 7.00 will trigger a bearish acceleration towards 6.80.
Buy Stop at 7.24

***** Trading Sell: SGX. Share price 7.32. ( Broke 7.40 and 200 DAY MA)

SGX has been trading above the 7.40 immediate support for more than a month before testing it yesterday and further confirming the breakdown today. More down side can be possible to 7.20 then 7.00 level which was well supported in June 2013. As long as 7.40 is not broken up, we favour a down move to these targets. Note that it has also just broken below the 200 DAY MA (Dotted blue line) today which can signal more weakness ahead. Can consider CFD sell positions to ride any downside. Those who would like to accumulate on dips can do so below the 7.10 level.
Buy stop 7.42
