STI near record highs… what stocks could move next?

The STI is trading near record highs.

But that does not mean every Singapore stock is worth chasing.

As we head into the last quarter of 2026, stock selection becomes even more important.

The real question is:

Which SG stocks still have healthy trends and room to move next?

That’s why I recorded a new video.

I broke down 6 Singapore stocks on my watchlist using my One Good Trend strategy and 1GT (Pro) Indicator:

These are not all from the same sector.

Some are bank leaders.

Some are earnings momentum plays.

Some are defensive names.

Some are linked to commodities and market activity.

And that makes the watchlist interesting.

In this video, I’ll show you:

• Which stocks are still showing bullish trend strength
• Which 1GT signals are still playing out
• Which charts may be getting extended
• And which names I’m watching closely into Q4

If you’re looking at the Singapore market now, this is a good time to be selective.

Not every stock will move.

But some charts are still worth watching.

Oil prices are spiking… which SG stocks could benefit?

Oil prices are spiking again.

And with tensions rising in the Middle East, investors are starting to pay attention.

But here’s the interesting part…

When crude oil moves sharply higher, it may not only affect oil companies.

Palm oil, agri-commodity and biodiesel-related stocks can also come into focus.

That’s why I recorded a new video.

I broke down 4 Singapore-listed stocks using my One Good Trend strategy and 1GT (Pro) Indicator:

• First Resources
• Bumitama Agri
• Olam Group
• Oiltek International

Some are showing reversal signs.

Some are continuing their uptrend.

And some may be quietly setting up before more investors notice.

The key question is this:

Is this just a short-term reaction to the oil spike…

or are the charts showing a bigger move starting?

If you’re watching the Singapore market, this is a timely sector to pay attention to.

First Resources: A breakout seen as per call issued yesterday ! price 2.13

Sent: Thursday, July 02, 2015 10:21 AM
Subject: ********First Resources: Potential breakout above 2.10, put in watchlist., price 2.08
First Resources has traded gradually upwards over the past one month as it attempts a breakout above the 2.10 level again. At current level, 20 day MA line has crossed above the 100 and 200 day MA line with 100 day also on the verge of crossing above 200 day MA positively today – this can signal a strong reversal in trend in play. Resistance at 2.10 key to end the current consolidation phase since August last year where it has also formed a triple bottom over the past 8 months period. Range will be from 2.00 to 2.10 and as long as 2.00 is a psychological support, uptrend intact in the long term with a move above 2.10 seen as a short term positive to 2.30 then 2.60. Can consider averaging up with stop loss at 2.07 on a breakout above 2.10, in our watchlist.

************* First Resources: Follow up from previous Accumulate call....... have broken 2.50 critical resistance today !

Following up from previous BUY call (See below), First Resource has finally broken above the 2.50 critical resistance today, can consider averaging up from 2.50 to 2.54…. possible for it to head higher on this new high breakout. Target to 2.60 then 2.80 in the midterm. As long as 2.50 is a new support level, we are bullish with short term target at 2.60.
Stop loss 2.46

Subject: ************ Accumulate on Dips: First Resources... Supported above 2.30.....
Can consider accumulating when it nears support at 2.30….. Seems likely to hold, range would be from 2.30 to 2.50 currently. More upside in the short term if it can cross back up above 2.40 again with 2.50 target fast. A break above 2.50 can pave the way to new high and consolidation.
Stop loss at 2.27

******** Monitor for potential breakdown of support: First Resources. Share price 1.70. (CFD SELL TRADE)

First Resources is currently being supported strongly at 1.65 level, we have seen this level held in May 2013 and also for the past 1 month. A slight descending triangle formation pattern can be seen on a wider timeframe which shows that downtrend is still in placed currently. If the 1.65 support down not hold, it can head further down to test 1.50. Possible to put a CFD SELL Stop order at 1.635 to catch the breakdown of this critical support, with a take profit level from 1.50 to 1.55 level. Immediate resistance level stands at 1.74 which it has stayed below for about 2 weeks already. More upside only if it manages to cross and stay above the resistance. Note that it has also been trading below the 20 DAY MA (Green line) for more than a month and has failed to creep above it, signaling that short term downtrend could still be in place. Monitor and let’s see if the breakdown does happen eventually.
